The Future Lab—held on September 27th, 2023 in Brussels—was the first co-creative public event of the WISE Horizons project. It focused on co-creating future scenarios for 2050, with four societal goals at core: Wellbeing, Inclusion, Sustainability, and Economic Justice.
The Lab convened a wide range of participants, including policymakers, representatives from civil society, academia, and businesses. The objective of this event was to develop positive, qualitative scenarios to guide the way forward toward a fair and better future for everyone. The Lab also aimed to gather insights into the most relevant trends affecting society in the future, such as climate change and technological developments and identify changes and policies that can bring us closer to delivering wellbeing in an inclusive and sustainable way.
