Policy Lab: Measuring progress towards a 2050 Vision

This two-part policy lab brought together researchers, especially modellers, and EU policymakers to help bridge science and policy. 

In the first half of the day, participants gained insights into the macroeconomic models developed within WISE Horizons. Together, they explored and discussed what a 2050 vision rooted in wellbeing, inclusion, and sustainability could look like. 

In the second half, policymakers rolled up their sleeves to identify and prioritise policy ideas aimed at mitigating trade-offs and unlocking synergies between wellbeing, sustainability, inclusion, and productivity in EU policymaking. The outcomes of this collaborative workshop will feed into the final integrated model of the WISE Horizons project.
